Sorrow or joy is Ours

What aileth us?
Who murmurs in our spirits?
In the core of our bodies...
where our souls reside.
Is it the enemy of ours?
Shaytan?
Do you consume our hope,
and plan to employ it against us?
Lo, you are doing your work well.
You have twisted us into an existing cadavers,
bearing a disguise to fool several…

But who whispereth against you?
they whisper in favor of us?
Faint and barely audible.
But nearby.. Somewhere
Is it the couriers?
Malaika?
Who carry the message of hope?
Do they bring a lit candle?
To place in this vacant cavities of our chests?
To light the dark hall,
and drive away the emptiness.

Alas you will clash,
a battle to be won or lost…
the triumph or defeat is in my hands…
though, the results will touch us both,
sorrow or joy is ours.
